Healing Fudge
Assists in the healing of many digestive issues. Recipe easily multiplies up.
- 1 cup Organic ghee (ideally homemade)
- Butter can also be used
- Room temperature (Summer), gently heat to soften (Winter)
- 2 -4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) Organic Ginger powder (more to taste)
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup Raw Honey
Note: more ginger and less honey is preferable nutritionally and for or a firm set texture.
- Blend. Adjust quantities to your flavour preference.
- Spread into a rectangular glass dish or a dish lined with baking paper. Smooth over with the back of warm dry spoon. Refrigerate. Then cut into pieces and store in the fridge or freezer. These can also be made in silicon chocolate molds for fun shapes.
- When firm, cut into squares and enjoy.
Peppermint Variation
- The peppermint assists with the digestion of the fudge, especially in those who find fats/oil challenging to assimilate.
Add 4 drops high quality food grade peppermint oil. The strength of different brands varies, start with less and increase to taste.
Chocolate Variation
- Also an excellent icing for cakes/muffins
- And certainly more healing than a bar of regular commercial chocolate J
Reduce the ginger to 1 tsp (more if desired) and add 1 cup Cacao (or cocoa)
Chilli Chocolate
Also add cayenne pepper – start small ie 1/2 tsp and increase to taste. Different brands of cayenne have different strengths.
