Tapioca flour is obtained from the cassava plant. It is a slightly sweet, white flour that is high in starch.
Ceres Organic Tapioca Flour is gluten-free, wheat-free and vegetarian.
There is:
- No chemical bleaching.
- No alcohol treatment.
- No additives.
- No anti-bacterial or anti-fungal agents.
- No bromate added.
It is commonly used in cooking as a thickening agent in fruit fillings and glazes or to make puddings and desserts. If mixed with other flours, it can also be used in baking.
