Over the years I have tried many facial cleansers and I would have to say that I have been the most happy with Giovanni Purifying Facial Cleanser. What impresses me most is getting out of the shower and not having to apply moisteriser straight away. Other facial cleansers have left my skin screaming for moisture. It doesn’t provide deep moisterisering, and an additional moisteriser is still needed, but it certainly doesn’t dry my skin out. It’s suitable for all skin types.
The main ingredients are perfect for giving the skin a little detox while rejuvenating and recharging skin cells. Those main ingredients are green tea, vitamins A and E, activated charcoal, volcanic ash, acai and goji berry. And yes it is black in colour due to the charcoal and volcanic ash. These two ingredients are what will help rid your skin of pollutants.
A number of the ingredients are certified organic which is even better and is only $14.95.
